Welcome to Ray Station -A Unique Australian Outback Station Stay
Ray Station was settled in 1874 (registered 1871) by great grandparents Patsy & Sarah Tully nee Durack. Sarah's brother the famous Patsy Durack (Kings in Grass Castles) urged them to follow him to the Kimberley's...they declined, surviving the great drought of 1900. Situated in the heart of Boulder opal country near Quilpie, Ray station's 600sq km remains one of a select few properties in Australianever to have changed hands since white settlement. It has been passed directly from father to son down each generation. Open exclusively to the coach market, specialised groups & aviation fly-ins.
